I made these for two grandkids who are tall and slim, and I love how well the slim patterns fit them without any adjustments! I’ve made several joggers already with plans to make more! Definitely 5 stars!
Cute summer pattern or under a shirt for winter. I haven't made it yet but it looks amazing and an easy sew.
Have printed but not made it yet. There is no pattern piece for armhole binding - I asked on your facebook group but got no answer, even though someone else with a different size to mine was answered. I would prefer to have measurements to cut straight pieces in any case.
I made these for my daughter - I love the fact that they come in different heights, makes life a bit easier! I did the short tulip hem in a light weight cotton and they are fantastic. I rarely follow instructions because I've been sewing for so long so I couldn't comment on them, but I did find the fit a little undergenerous for the back - I think next time I'll do a full seat adjustment and probably mash together sizes to have increased give in the elastic part of the waistband, but otherwise they were great. I'd really also appreciate a no seam allowance version contained within the layers as sewing is easier where I can use my own judgement for the allowances needed - I often find that US patterns include seam allowances which are over generous.
Other than that, it's a great pattern and one that I'll definitely make again - maybe next time as swim shorts?
This is my new favorite shirt for my granddaughters. The pleated back and nicely shaped hem are great. I’ve made several with cotton Lycra and love to mix and match the patterns for the top bodices and front and back. I also love the varying lengths. It’s a real winner for me!
