I loved making up the Harper Cardigan for my mum for Mother's Day. I made it in a raspberry coloured cable knit fabric. As it was a surprise, I had to guess her size from the measurements on the pattern and the size 12 was perfect. The instructions for the pattern are very detailed and make it a great project to sew without any stress.

I searched high and low for this pattern and was delighted to find it . Loved the fit and beautiful seam lines front and back, giving it a very flattering fit - sizing was spot on ! Easy directions . I opted not to add the pocket zippers to save me time but wish I had , as items aren’t secure with an open pocket . . Overall, it came out so professional looking - can’t wait to make more !

Made the size 98. Easy to do but must remember to upsize for next one as the fit is not generous

Love my Dakota dress which I made up in medium weight jersey in emerald green with white spots - used the placket but just added buttons as doesn’t need an opening! I lined the bodice to give a clean finish. However I don’t personally like high/low hems and so traced off the skirt and balanced up to the low level. Worked perfectly! Used the large bust option but could still do with a little more room so next time I make this - and I will probably make 2 or 3! - I will do an FBA of maybe 1 inch in total. To be honest it really does fit well but I am just a bit picky on fit. I think most sewists would think it was fine as is! Great dress! Moira
